How to install Illustrator Brushes.

Illustrator brush libraries are saved as .ai files.

Our Illustrator brush libraries are usually saved in your download package in a folder named 'Install These Files' and will contain 'brush-library' in the filename.

To install do the following:

1. In Illustrator, open the Brushes Panel (Window > Brushes).
2. Click the Brush Libraries Menu in the bottom left of the Panel (the bookshelf icon).
3. Choose Other Library from the Menu.
4. Locate the brush library .ai file on your hard drive and click open to install.

The brushes will appear in their own Brush Library Panel (not in the Brushes Panel).
 

Organizing your brushes.

To view your brushes by brush name, choose 'List View' from the fly-out menu.  

To load your brushes each time you restart Illustrator, choose 'Persistent' from the fly-out menu. 

WARNING! Choosing 'Persistent' may cause sluggish performance on startup. Proceed with caution.
