Procreate doesn't recognize the .brushset file during installation.

If you've downloaded and unzipped your brushes but your iPad or Procreate doesn't recognize the .brushset file try the following:

  • Ensure that you are not attempting to import the .brushset file from the Procreate gallery as shown here. Brushsets can only be installed by opening the .brushset file via the files app.
  • Check that Procreate and iPadOS is up-to-date.
  • Quit all apps, restart your iPad then download the files again ensuring you have a stable internet connection.
  • If that doesn't work, tap and hold the downloaded brushset file until the options menu appears. Then tap "Share" and scroll accross then tap the More "•••" button. "Open in Procreate" should appear in the Suggestions list.

If the above suggestions fail, this may indicate a deeper issue with your iPad or Procreate.

We recommend reaching out to Procreate support at support@savage.si with details and screenshots demonstrating the issue.
