If you have Procreate Pocket installed on your iPad, iPadOS may open your brushes in Pocket by default instead of the full iPad version.
To work around this, you can install your brushes manually by telling iPad OS which app you'd like to open the .brushset file in.
This method is also a great workaround when tapping a .brushset file doesn't automatically install it into Procreate.
Take the following steps or watch the video below.
- Go to your downloads folder (Files App > iCloud Drive > Downloads) or search "Downloads" on your iPad.
- Locate the Procreate brushset file in your downloaded product files.
- Tap and hold it until the options fly-out menu appears
- Tap "Share" from the options list.
- Tap "Open In Procreate".
Fire up Procreate and your brushes will appear at the top of the brush sets list.
