Can I use your products in Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer?

Theoretically some of our products will work or partially work in Affinity but they have not been specifically designed to do so.

You're welcome to give it a shot but we are unable to provide support, installation info or refunds for any product used with Affinity Photo or Designer if they don't work.

Furthermore our commercial license does not cover any product converted for use with Affinity.

You're on your own kid. Godspeed!

Any plans for future releases for Affinity?

Not at the moment. This is mostly due to concerns about user experience and instability of the apps themselves. This also allows us to focus on what we do best – create high quality tools for professional designers and illustrators using industry leading applications.

Whilst the price of Affinity apps may be appealing to many users we feel the bugginess negates any benefit but with future updates and user growth we may re-evaluate this position.

Here's what might work or partially work:

  • Photoshop brushes saved in .abr format.
  • Vector swatches and textures.

Here's what definitely won't work:

  • Photoshop brushes saved in .tpl format (Beat Tones, Lithotone and Grain Shader brushes all currently contain a small number of .tpl format brushes).
  • Vector brushes.
  • Vector Graphic Styles (as used in our Hardwear Vector Distressing Kit)
